My Writing Process Blog Tour

The lovely Chris Cannon invited me to be on this tour.

1) What am I working on?

At the moment I’m splitting my time between working on the second book in the Eternal Balance series, a super secret project, and edits for  NA thriller I have coming out later in the year.
2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I like to think my stuff doesn’t hold back. In my YA worlds, in all my worlds, bad shit happens. The world is sometimes a dark, messy place, and I don’t believe in glossing over it.
3) Why do I write what I do?

Mainly I think its because its what I love to read. (What I really wanted to say was, write what you know…but then someone might call PROOF and I’d be forced to disclose my Demonic and Six abilities…)
4) How does your writing process work?

There’s no real method to it to be honest. I sit. I have coffee and dogs on my feet. I write. I’m a panster, so plotting is out of the question. Sometimes I can get by with a SLIGHT outline. Basically, an idea and a few lines, but that’s it. Anything more trips me up. The one thing that IS essential is music. Actually, think of that as my outline. All my characters, most of my scenes, all have songs. I’ll leave you with one from the next Jax and Sam book 😉
